This Acceptable Use Policy supplements our Terms of Service and outlines prohibited uses of the Duskwrit Service.
Prohibited Content
- Content that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights (e.g., uploading someone else's manuscript as your own).
- Content that constitutes or promotes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.
- Content created with the primary purpose of harassment, doxxing, or targeting specific real individuals.
- Content that violates any applicable law or regulation.
Note on Creative Fiction
We recognize that fiction explores the full spectrum of human experience, including dark, violent, and morally complex themes. We do not moderate or restrict the themes in your creative writing. The prohibitions above apply to content created with the intent to cause real-world harm, not to fiction that explores difficult subject matter.
Prohibited Activities
- Using the Service to plagiarize or pass off others' works as your own.
- Sharing account credentials or reselling access without authorization.
- Attempting to bypass rate limits, plan restrictions, or security measures.
- Automated access beyond any provided API (scraping, unauthorized bots).
- Interfering with or degrading the Service for other users.
- Using the Service to generate bulk content for SEO manipulation, spam, or content farms.
- Attempting to extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate the AI integration layer or prompt engineering.
- Using the Service to develop a directly competing product.
Enforcement
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination. We may report illegal activity to law enforcement.
